This Space Events warmly endorses Dani Quayle in the Entertainer of the Year category at the 2013 Australian Event Awards.

This Space Events is a global event management specialist with more than a decade of major event experience in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and the United Kingdom.

This Space was engaged by Australia’s second oldest company, AGL Energy, to develop and manage a series of events for its 175th birthday celebrations in the latter half of 2012.  The brief included a regional roadshow program focused on teaching school age children and their families about the benefits of energy efficiency in the home.  And the program concluded with a gala dinner at Fleet Steps on Sydney Harbour attended by 150 VIP guests including leading Australian CEOs, Managing Directors, Board Members and politicians.

Dani performed live at each of these events for what were vastly different audience groups – polar opposites in fact.  At the Regional Roadshow the audience was children and at the gala dinner it was senior executives.  Both events commenced with Dani playing live acoustic guitar with vocals to warm the crowds up including a mix of original songs and classic covers.  The gala dinner event concluded with Dani moving onto the DJ decks and playing a selection of classic house hits as guests danced the night away under the stars and famous Sydney skyline.

Dani effectively connected with each of these audiences through her special musical talents and approachable persona.

The client was exceptionally happy with how Dani performed at each of these events.  This Space received praise from senior management at AGL not only on Dani’s musical performance, but also her energy and ability to interact with the crowd in between her performances.  Her friendly and joyful nature was well received and This Space fielded many enquiries for her details from guests for weeks after the event.

This Space looks forward to working with Dani again in the future and has no hesitation supporting her application for Entertainer of The Year.

Dani put on a fabulous performance at our corporate event at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The song selection and execution were just phenomenal.
